My New Disney Parks Spirit Jerseys

I posted back in February that ShopDisney was having a Friends & Family 25% off event. I took advantage of the sale to buy three Disney Parks Spirit Jerseys that I had been wanting for a while. I usually wear a size small in Disney clothing but since the Spirit Jerseys are over-sized, I wear an XS. These fit great!

First up, The Enchanted Tiki Room Spirit Jersey. This is really cute and tropical in a dark green color with lighter, almost lime green accents. Jose sits proudly on the left side of the front of the shirt, and other birds including Michael, Pierre, Fritz and Rosita decorate the bottom half of the shirt on the front and back, as well as the sleeves. Across the shoulders on the back, my shirt says "Walt Disney World" but there is also a Disneyland version.

Next is the It's A Small World Spirit Jersey. It's all white with the It's A Small World ride scenery running across the bottom of the shirt. The left side of the front of the shirt says "Good Bye", one of the signs from the final scene. Across the shoulders on the back, my shirt says "Walt Disney World" but there is also a Disneyland version of this Spirit Jersey too.

The last Spirit Jersey I got is the Haunted Mansion. It's a ghoulish purple color with the creepy wallpaper motive running across the bottom half of the shirt on the front and back, as well as the sleeves. The left side on the front of the shirt has the creepy wallpaper logo in black with "Ghost Host" written above it. The back reads "The Haunted Mansion" across the shoulders and it glows in the dark!

When I wear these Spirit Jerseys my hair covers the motifs on the back a little so here's a better picture of the back of the shoulders of each shirt. I'm really glad I grabbed these during the Friends & Family sale because now only the Haunted Mansion jersey is in stock! I was waiting for a discount and I'm glad the Spirit Jerseys were included because they're expensive! They were still a little pricey with the discount, but not as bad. They were well worth the money because I love them!

RunDisney Virtual Running Shorts 2019

The runDisney Virtual Running Shorts series is back for its fourth year and this year celebrates 80 years of Marvel! The Virtual Running Shorts series is a set of three 5K virtual races where you can run, jog, or walk around your neighborhood, on a treadmill, at the gym, or even around Walt Disney World Resorts - wherever you want, whenever you want at your own pace.

There are three individual race windows, each with a different commemorative finisher medal representing characters from the Marvel Universe. Run all three of the 5K races within the completion time frame and you’ll also receive a Virtual Running Shorts Series Finisher Medal.

I participated in the Virtual Running Shorts in 2017 and really enjoyed it! It was a great way for me to feel motivated to get into running and stick with it. It also prepared me for racing without feeling the pressure right when I was getting started. (You can read my review of the Virtual Running Shorts series here and you can read about each of my individual 5k races here).

If you run all three 5K distances within the allotted time frame, you can also earn the Virtual Running Shorts Series Finisher Medal, which celebrates 80 years of Marvel (pictured right). In addition, the celebratory charity is Starlight Children's Foundation.

Registration opened today over at runDisney's website. Each race is $40 or $145 for the challenge. (Please note you must register for the challenge in order to receive the series finisher medal).

This year ShopDisney and Disney Stores have launched the Disney Wisdom series. On the third Saturday of each month, every month through the end of the year, a new collection will be released based on a different character and inspirational quote.

Last month was inspired by Mulan and this month is inspired by The Jungle Book featuring the quote, "Forget about your worries and your strife" by Baloo. A Baloo plush, journal, pin set, mug, t-shirt and wall art have been released at Disney Stores and ShopDisney. Items in March's collection range from $16.95 to $26.95.

We've also been given a preview of April's collection inspired by Piglet from Winnie the Pooh. Next month's collection will release on April 20.

If you're interested in purchasing any of the items in the Disney Wisdom Collection, be sure to get online at the time of release (usually 3am EST) or get in line early at your local Disney Store because they will sell out!

New Disney Cosmetic Bags from Box Lunch

Box Lunch currently has the most adorable Disney cosmetic bag sets! There are SO many great ones including The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, Mickey and Minnie, and The Lion King. I had a ton of Lunch Money to use back in January, so I picked up my favorite sets!

I got the A Bug's Life, Moana, and Fantasia sets, which each include two cosmetic bags. The smaller bag sits nicely inside the bigger bag and makes a cute display when you're not using them. The designs of each bag combine to make a bigger, even prettier design! The Moana and Fantasia sets are the same size and more circular in shape, while the Bug's Life set is slightly smaller and has a more rectangular shape.

Outside of their cases you can see additional detail on each bag. The larger Moana bag is transparent with her boat on one corner. Around the edges is a cute Polynesian design. The smaller bag has a beautiful shell and flower pattern that crosses on to the back of the bag.  The larger Bug's Life bag is transparent on one side and has leaves and grass patterns on the inside. The smaller bag also has leaves and grass patterns on the front and back with Heimlich on the front corner.

The larger Fantasia bag has three of the flying horses sitting in flowers on the front and images of the flying horses in different colors on the inside. The rest of the bag is plain. The smaller Fantasia bag has one flying horse on the front sitting in a gorgeous design of gold flowers. The flowers also cross on to the back of the bag.

A really cute detail on the Fantasia set is the zips. Both bags have a gold Sorcerer's Apprentice hat on the zip which is such a neat touch!

The larger A Bug's Life bag also has a cute detail on the zip - a gold leaf. I didn't really need three sets of cosmetic bags because I don't really travel all that much. There were so many cute sets I was impressed I could narrow it down to my top three!

I had so much Lunch Money I was able to get three for a little over the price of one, so it was a no-brainer to pick them up even though they weren't a necessity. Also, how often do you see A Bug's Life and Fantasia merch?! Almost never. I had to get them! I am in love with these and can't wait to use them!
