Disney Wisdom - December Collection

This year ShopDisney and Disney Stores have launched the Disney Wisdom series. On the third Saturday of each month, every month throughout the year, a new collection has been released based on a different character and inspirational quote. This month marks the twelfth and final installment in the series.

Last month was inspired by The Lion King and this month is inspired by Cinderlla featuring the quote, "Even miracles take a little time" by Fairy Godmother. A Fairy Godmother plush, journal, pin set, mug, t-shirt and wall art have been released at Disney Stores and ShopDisney. Items in December's collection range from $16.95 to $26.95.

This concludes the Disney Wisdom collection. I'm a little surprised that the series did not do as well as last year's Mickey Mouse Memories Collection. I personally didn't pick up anything from this series simply because none of the quotes really resonated with me enough to where I felt like I needed a mug or plush featuring the quote. I don't really collect pins and I have plenty of journals, so those never would have appealed to me.

I liked the idea of the series being based on inspirational Disney quotes however I do think it's weird that sometimes they chose characters that didn't correspond with the quote, for example the Simba plush last month featuring a quote from Rafiki. Vans Nightmare Before Christmas Collection

Another Disney and Vans collaboration has been released and this edition is Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas! Multiple shoe styles are available for men, women and kids including canvas slip ons and Sk8-Hi. Here are a few of the styles available:

Last month was inspired by Aladdin and this month is inspired by The Lion King featuring the quote, "The past can hurt, but the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it" by Rafiki. A Simba plush, journal, pin set, mug, t-shirt and wall art have been released at Disney Stores and ShopDisney. Items in November's collection range from $16.95 to $26.95.

We've also been given a preview of December's collection, the last in the series, inspired by The Fairy Godmother from Cinderella. Next month's collection will release on December 21.
