Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Costume

I will be attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this year and I am so excited to be going back! I've only been once before, but I loved it! There is way too much to do than you'll ever get done in one night, so if I could I would totally go more than once a year. I'm looking forward to being back again this year for candy, dancing, Happy HalloWishes and of course the Boo To You Parade!

I always like to dress up because it's fun! While I could cosplay at any time, it is way too hot for me to walk around the Magic Kingdom in a full costume, so I opt for cosplay instead. For my first Halloween Party, I cosplayed as Han Solo, which you can read about here. This year I decided to dress as Lilo and have my Duffy bear dress as Stitch. My husband isn't into dressing up, so Duffy and I will wear a couple's costume instead ;) to top it all off, I won't be wearing flip flops (who can do that in the parks all day?! Not me!) but my running shoes are blue - perfect!

I am SUPER excited to be attending Mickey's Not So Scary again this year, and while I've had second thoughts about my outfit at times, I'm excited to wear that too!

Mickey Mouse Rain Jacket

I've recently started to post about some of the things I've bought for my upcoming Walt Disney World trip, and today I'm blogging about a Mickey Mouse packable rain jacket I got from UNIQLO.

This jacket is really cute and feminine, with Mickey heads printed all over in shades of pink and white. This jacket was also available in a baby blue color but I preferred the pink. The jacket has two pockets with zip closures and is also hooded. 

The best part about this jacket is that it folds up into a bag! It took a couple times of reading the instructions on the tag to figure out how, but once you know it's super easy. This is so perfect for unexpected rain showers on park days. This jacket will easily fold up, and is small enough to fit in my tote bag and carry around the parks with me. It's also super light weight! I'm really pleased with this purchase!

The Little Mermaid Bikini

I am starting to get everything together that I'll need for my upcoming Walt Disney World trip, so my next few posts will be showcasing items I've purchased in anticipation of my trip.

Today I want to show you guys this super cute bathing suit I got at Hot Topic - it's the Little Mermaid! Full price this was $60 but it was on clearance for $30 and I had Hot Cash, making my grand total just $15 for this amazing two piece!! I don't think Target can beat that!

Unfortunately I've gone through the Freshman 15 again over the past year, and I've only been able to lose half of that so far. I am still way too far from my target weight not to feel self-conscious in this bathing suit but I'll be wearing it anyway because I bought it specifically for this trip. I probably should have gotten this one piece for $18 instead. I'm 3 weeks away so I highly doubt I'll get any closer before I leave and I for sure won't be my target weight. Ugh.

We are having two water park days: one at Blizzard Beach and one day at Typhoon Lagoon so I know I'll get some good use out of this bathing suit!
