Beautifully Disney - Diva of the Deep

Today I tried out another nail polish from the Beautifully Disney collection. This color is Diva of the Deep and it's inspired by Ursula from The Little Mermaid. I wear a lot of purple which drew me to this color. I love how dark it is and how it has a really subtle sparkle to it. I'm a big fan of Beautifully Disney and the Wickedly Beautiful line!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Han Solo

I saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens twice. Once with my brother on opening weekend, then a second time on New Year's Eve with my husband and two of our friends. I'm glad I went to see it twice because I picked up on a lot more things the second time around that I didn't notice the first time.

The Director's Suite

Overall, I enjoyed the movie and I'm glad I went to see it. It was a step up from the Phantom Menace for sure, but I was a little disappointed. (If you haven't seen Star Wars Episode VII, stop reading now!) I felt like JJ Abrams played it so safe, he plagiarized Episode IV. It was essentially the same story all over again but with different characters: Death Star, Death Star X-wing battle, "I am your father", beloved main character dies, the Rebellion wins but the Sith still lurk.

Like I said, I did enjoy it but I was a little disappointed. I'm curious to see how things will play out from here with the next two episodes...

Christmas at New Year

I was out of the country over Christmas, so my husband and I celebrated on New Year's Day instead. Here's my loot from my husband. He did really good! I did ask for a few of the items pictured, but he came up with several on his own :)
