YesterEars T-Shirt Review - Blizzard Beach

The YesterEars Collection is a set of three Disney clothing items that are made to order and available only for a limited period of time. Every couple of months it seems a new set is released. Usually the collection features t-shirts, but long sleeved shirts and sweatshirts have also been available in the past. One item is a retro clothing piece from the 70's, another is from the 80's, and the third is from the 90's.

I'm not sure when exactly this collection started, but the most recent installment was released on May 18. The collection is usually available to order for 1 week and takes 3-5 weeks to be made, shipped and delivered to you. For this reason, it's not possible to read reviews of the items before you purchase. Anyone who's left a review does not have that item in hand because Express Shipping is not available. By the time the item arrives, it's no longer available to order to it's not possible to leave a review.

Since I can't read reviews, I've put off buying a t-shirt from this collection for some time. I really wanted the Backlot Tour t-shirt that was released earlier this year, but passed not knowing how it would fit. Until the release of the May collection, every shirt has been men's sizing only. It was too hard for me to pass up the Blizzard Beach t-shirt that was released in April, so I went for it!

I ordered the shirt on April 26, one day before the last day to order. It shipped 2 weeks later on May 10. I was told the carrier was UPS but no tracking number was provided. The shirt arrived over 2 weeks later on May 26.

I ordered a size Small (the smallest size available, no XS) and the t-shirt fits pretty good. As you'd expect with a men's sized tee, the sleeves run longer than what I'm used to in women's tees, but luckily the stitching isn't past my shoulder and half way to my elbow like men's tees sometimes are, it sits right on the edge of my shoulder.

I love the vintage looking 90's Blizzard Beach graphic which looks a little faded/distressed, although I can see why some people wouldn't like. You just bought a new shirt and it already looks 10 years old. I like that the graphic is large, taking up the whole of the front of the shirt. The tee is Hanes brand and is super soft and comfortable! Very impressed with that.

The length is again a little longer than I'm used to in women's tees, but I wouldn't say it was "too long". I'm 5'6" for reference. The t-shirt is pretty fitted, it's not baggy, but I've got room to breathe and hide my winter body that I haven't shifted yet. But of course it's not fitted to a woman's shape. Lastly, the back of the shirt has the YesterEars logo on the neckline. I'm not sure that you can see that when I wear my shirt because I think my hair covers it.

Overall I would probably buy a YesterEars tee again if I saw one I loved. If you like more than one there's usually a discount, something like 40% off your second tee. They fit better on me than most men's sized shirts. My only criticism is it took forever to be delivered. I can live with 3-5 weeks to be shipped, but 2 weeks in the mail with no tracking number made me nervous. Overall it was 1 month to the day from my order date to having it in-hand.

March Magic Tees

So March Magic was forever ago and I just now realized I never posted the tees I ordered! I posted some of my favorite March Magic items in this post and I ended up ordering 5 t-shirts from those favorites. For those who don't know, the 2017 March Magic Champions were the Tomorrowland Movers.

These are unisex shirts and I ordered a size small. They fit pretty good! The length is a little longer than what I prefer, but not too long to wear. (For reference, I'm 5'6"). The sleeves are also longer than a women's cut of course, ending about 2 inches from my elbow. They are decently fitted, not tight at all, but not "boxy" or baggy if you get what I mean. The shoulders are decent too, not as wide as other unisex shirts I have. They are Hanes brand and pretty light weight which is great for wearing around the parks!

Here are my tees:

For some reason this looks navy, but it's purple

The Dreamfinders, Rebel Spies and Barbershop Quartet have the coolest numbers on the back of the shirt. I didn't mess around taking pictures of the back of the shirts, but you can visit my previous March Magic post to check that out.

I'm really pleased with all of my tees! I ended up buying more than I thought I would because come on, when have you ever seen Jungle Cruise, Cranium Command and Dapper Dans t-shirts? (Okay, there might be a Jungle Cruise tee in the Twenty-Eight and Main collection, but that's a men's clothing line). There really aren't that many Figment or Star Tours clothing items either. I would highly recommend purchasing March Magic tees to Disney fans!
