My Magical Friday Haul

For those who don't know, Magical Friday is the Disney Store name for Black Friday. I realize that Black Friday was almost a month ago, but due to shipping delays, I've only just now received all of my Black Friday purchases. Here's a look at the Disney items I got. First up, here's what I got from the DisneyStore.com:

It's a Dumbo and paisley print fashion top from the Disney Boutique line. It's kind of a beige/off-white color with a gray design. Here's a closer look at some of the details:

I also ordered a couple of Disney clothing items from Hot Topic:

This is a Peter Pan sweater that I just love! As you can see, Peter Pan, Wendy, John and Michael are flying along the neckline. The sweater has an open back with a sheer tank top attached underneath. Here's a look at the back:

I don't think the cosmic looking design is connected in any way to Peter Pan, but I still like the sweater. I also bought an Alice in Wonderland open cardigan:

The Winnie the Pooh top I'm wearing underneath doesn't really coordinate but it's 5 degrees out right now so I'm wearing it anyway because it's thermal!

I'm really happy with my purchases, and even more happy with how much money I saved! It's just a little disappointing how long some of it took to ship. (Sorry for a couple of the grainy pictures, natural light has been hard to come by recently).

Beautifully Disney - Spriteful

Today I'm wearing one of my favorite nail polishes ever! This color is called Spriteful and its part of the Fantasy in Flight line, which is inspired by Tinkerbell. I love the gold color and how much it sparkles! I love to wear this color around the holidays because I think it has a real Christmas feel to it, as well a being filled with magical pixie dust!

My New Disney Sketchbook Christmas Ornaments

My local Disney Store had a promotion on Sketchbook Christmas ornaments not too long ago. I had had my eye on a couple and decided I would finally pick them up! As you can see I got the Up house and Stitch. 

The Up house was a must-have because it was the second Disney movie my husband I saw together (after WALL-E) and we incorporated many themes and icons from Up into our wedding. Now we'll have a little Up on our tree! Stitch covered in Christmas lights was just to cute! I love his little Santa hat and of course he would be getting into lights when he shouldn't. He will also add another fun Disney touch to our tree. I just love these ornaments!

My New Disney Fall Decor

I had to show off these two cute little scarecrows I found at Walgreens! Mickey and Minnie have matching outfits, they are poseable, and can stand on their own. They are adding a little Disney magic to my fall decor and the best part was they were on sale!

My Disney Alex and Ani Birthday Gift

So my birthday was a month ago, but I really wanted to show y'all this beautiful Alex and Ani bracelet that my aunt got me for my birthday. As you can see it's Mickey and Minnie with a heart in the background. Either side of them the bracelet has like a twisted knot style design. I have this bracelet in Rafaelian gold finish.

I mostly have the wrap style Alex and Ani bracelets and also the bangles with circular charms. This bracelet is super cute and a different style to what I usually wear. I had seen it when it was first released on the Disney Parks Blog, but never gave it a second thought since there are so many jewelry and clothing items that I want! It was a really sweet surprise to open this gift on my birthday. I love it!

My New Toy Story Vans!

I posted about the new Toy Story Vans collection the day it was released and the very next day I went to my local Vans store to pick up a pair. They didn't have the style I wanted in my size, but I was able to order online and have them shipped to my home for free. I could have bought half the shoes in this collection, but as you'd expect, they're not cheap and I only bought one pair. Can you guess which?

My top two favorites were the shoes that look like Buzz's feet and the shoes that looked like Woody's boots. I figured I would get more opportunities to wear Woody's boots, so that's what I went with.

The outside of the shoes are leather with a cactus stitches in to the sides, just like Woody's boots. The insides of the shoe represent Woody's shirt and vest:

And of course, Andy is written on the sole of the right shoe - just like Woody! I am so in love with these Vans! They are incredible! The price was a little more than I usually pay for Vans, but these are real leather and so worth it! I'm glad I didn't hesitate based on how quickly this collection sold out.

New Toy Story Vans Collection Released Today

A new Toy Story Vans collection has been released today at several retail outlets. This collaboration brings 10 different shoe styles (one style not pictured above) including: Woody's boots, Buzz's shoes, Andy's toys, Bo Beep, the Aliens (which glow in the dark), Sid's toys, and more. The collection offers baby, kids and adult sizes and also offers accompanying apparel and accessories.

Possibly the most awesome thing about these shoes is that the right foot has "Andy" written on the bottom! Adult sizes range in price from $60 to $85. You can find this collection at Vans, Journeys, Pacsun, Zumiez, Tillys, and Zappos. If you're wanting anything from this line, I would highly recommend that you buy it FAST! The collection was released only today and yet many locations have already sold out of several sizes. If previous Disney Vans releases are anything to go by, sold out stock will not be replenished. Don't be disappointed!

New Dumbo Top!

Despite some of the emotional trauma toward the beginning of the film, I love Dumbo! It really hits home with me. A sweet little elephant is born a little different, teased and made fun of, but finds a great friend and mentor who helps him overcome adversity. Since I'm such a big Dumbo fan, I bought this top the second I saw it! The front has a circus themed pennant banner across the top, with Dumbo and the crows, and the phrase "Soaring high! Up we go!"

The pennant pattern continues across the back of the top, which I love! And right on the bottom corner of the back of the shirt, is Timothy Mouse:

How cute?! I want to wear this shirt every chance I get! You can purchase it over at UNIQLO.

Beautifully Disney - This Way, That Way

I'm currently wearing another nail polish from the Beautifully Disney collection. This color is This Way, That Way and it's inspired by the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland. It's one of 4 colors that make up the Curiouser and Curiouser line. It's a really beautiful blue and I've had several compliments on this shade. Since it's my birthday month and blue is my favorite color, I decided this would be a good choice and I love it!

My New Lilo & Stitch Clothing from Hot Topic

Recently with all the deals going on at Hot Topic, I picked up a couple of Lilo & Stitch clothing items:

Stitch Hawaii Kimono

This kimono was an in-store exclusive which is rare. My store has a very small Disney selection squashed in the corner by the door as you enter the store. I end up buying most of my Disney clothing from their website instead. But I couldn't pass this up when I saw it in store! It's too cute! And kimonos are just perfect for summer!

Lilo & Stitch Floral Tank Top

The second item of Lilo & Stitch clothing I got was this floral tank top. I love the color! It has a really feminine fit and the flowers are pretty and summery. Stitch of course is cute as ever. I've been enjoying wearing these so far this season.
